I still can't believe how the week has flown by and the quarantine period's nearly over. Woot woot!
This staying home business isn't too bad, actually. Due to the HFMD, Gib's been waking up at 11-ish a.m. everyday (yayyyyyyy!!) and so I can actually go to bed later than usual, which means I get to have some me-time in the middle of the night to read and watch TV. Bliss.
Then when Gibran wakes up, I feed him, then cook lunch. By 12-ish, H is home for lunch till about 1.45 when he leaves for the office. Yesss.. the perks of living close to the office ;p After I feed him lunch, we'd read or play games or watch TV (he loves Ultraman now and it's on Astro Ceria from 2.30 to 3 p.m., y'all!). Then I put him down for a nap and he naps longer too in the past week because of the HMFD. He's been napping for more than 1.5 hours, which is remarkable for his standards! So I get some me-time in the evenings too ;) Then once he's up, I hang out with him till about 6.45 p.m., when we take him for a short run at the neighbourhood park because it's completely empty by that time. So we don't have to worry about him running into other kids and infecting them. After the evening shower, it's dinner time and then we'd just hang around or take a drive here-and-there before his bedtime at about 11.30 p.m.
Not too bad for a Mummy who is a HUGE kaki jalan. I tell ya, I memang cannot stay home for long. Always have to do something, go somewhere. Always. But this past one week's shown me that we can be domesticated if we want to. Hehehehe.
I really DON'T want to jinx this... but I reallyy hope that Gibran's sleeping pattern will continue like this from here onwards! I'd be one happy momma!
