Been busy with lots of things happening all around us, plus I've a couple of projects up my sleeves. Which finally leaves me with very little time to blog and blog-hop. This is better in point form for a concise update.
- Cousins Rizal and Nafisah welcomed their third baby on Thursday last week, and we visited them on Saturday at home. Baby's name's not 100% confirmed yet. Nafisah said he looks like a Syed Daniel (he looks a lot like their second boy, Imran!) and then Nafisah's sister said that since the baby likes to take off one of his mittens all the time, why not honour Michael Jackson and name the kid Syed Mikhail. Hahahahaaaa... reallyyy farnee lah that bunch ;p
- Upon coming back from Nafisah's house, I developed a persistant pain down my left leg which is a little bit worrying considering the fact that that leg was the leg that was nearly paralysed last year. So instead of stressing the lower spine further by seating in front of the laptop, I've been resting but walking (weird eh? Must make sure I rest in bed but also make sure the spine gets exercised as much as it can take everyday.. it's a paradox really!).. which leaves me even little-er time to blog and blog-hop.
- The pain is still there but I am taking it easy and hoping it'll get better by next week Insyaallah. Pray for me okay, friends.
- Took a few leaves out of the Lorna Whiston's Early Readers' Workshop that Anis and I attended two weeks ago and am in the midst of designing personalised storybooks for Gibran. The first I'm working on is about our trip to the Melbourne Zoo. Since the spine's bothering me these few days, progress has been slow, but I am hoping to be able to share some tips from the workshop and also a rough version of our first personalised storybook by early next week, Insyaallah.
- Aside from the spinal pain, I've been hit with a case of PMS, which leaves me with little good mood. What good mood I have, I save 100% for H and Gibran. Hence leaving me with dark un-fun thoughts everytime I am in front of the laptop. Not condusive mood for blogging, right? ;p
- H's cousin Ina had her spinal surgery last Friday and we haven't had the opportunity to visit her because I haven't felt too good. We're hoping to get a visit in today because MakSu said her spinal drainage isn't drying up as quickly as they hope, so there is a bit of a cause to worry. I pray it isn't anything serious.
- And lastly, for some reason, Gib's been pretty clingy these past few days as if sensing that Mummy's not feeling too good. Weird sort of reaction but I guess kids react differently to these things, eh?
In the meantime, hope your week's going better than mine, folks.
