Second Week and Counting

He hasn't complained one bit about school. So Alhmdulillah!

His buddy is made monitor for the next two months, but no sirree he isn't interested in becoming the next monitor coz being a monitor means you have to do 'work'.

The food in school is yummy so far (but spicy, mummy!) and the primary one kids still get help from teacher to get food. No crowds, no queues. And so far he comes home claiming he feels full.

The toilets are clean and there is water in the hallway in case you want a refill or get thirsty.

"We haven't studied anything!" he exclaims, because he's used to studying a lot at smart reader. But the principal reminds me that learning is different here, and I'm starting to see that because he comes home with questions about things regarding the Kaabah and various economic issues that amaze me.

InsyaAllah, he is happy, and he is learning :)

And as shallow as that sounds, that's all that matters to me right now.
