Friday, 29th June 2007, 8.30 a.m. ...
Last few days to stay in bed late in the morning. Hmmm.. love sleeping in...Bliss.
"Phrrrwwwwwwwwwwwwwhhhh..."..... Sigh. That was the sound of Gibran spitting out his pacifier. The little fella was obviously up!
"Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrwwwwwwww...prrrrrrrrrwwwwwwwww..." Making bubbling-like noises. Him, not me.
Shuffle shuffle shuffle..kicked aside the blankie..bringing both feet up to his mouth for a suckling-session.
"Don't do that..." Me still half-asleep, eyes half-opened..felt like I was juling / cross-eyed already. Pulled his feet away from him.
Realising Mummy was awake.. turned to his side, arms flailing out (Superman Act while lying down..?).. while laughing out loud. Dang! The little guy knows how to act irresistable already!
More giggles..and again and again and again. Smack smack Mummy on the face.. Wake up Mummy!!! Lets play!
"Urghhhhhhh..." Opened my eyes... "Sigh..". Yawnnnnnnnnnn.
More sighs!
Followed by more giggles from Gibran. Touched mummy's face. Hugged mummy..put face right into mummy's arm pits and breasts (what the..?!).
"Ok ok! I'm up, Gib." Stared at Mr. Alarm Clock. Even more giggles now that he saw mummy's eyes were opened. Finally, I smiled. He responded with a wild flailing of his arms and really loud laughter.
"Hiiiii Gibby... Morning darling..." I said. "Hi..."
"HAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.............!!!!" more laughter.
Eh????
Was that my imagination running wild..????????
"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Gib..............?"
"HAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!" arms flailing, laughing on and on.
Mummy sat up, fully awake now!
"Hi..................?????? HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII ???????????" Mummy went.
"HAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!" then Gib went.
"HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII !!!" Mummy again.
"HAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!" Gib again!
On and on we went till he got bored!
Called Baba, told him the amazing news.
Funnily enough, we've only had that one debut performance and only one more repeat performance after that. No repeat shows yet!
The little guy's starting to mimic!
